I bought a "babybook" before Essie was born. It's beautiful, handmade, covered in silk, way overpriced and I have yet to write one thing in it. I find it soooo difficult to document her in that form. So what I've done to document her first year of life (other than this blog) is to make Shutterfly photo books. I LOVE them. I make the 8x8 hardcover books. So far we have made several.
I made this one while we were pregnant to document the pregnancy.
I made this one to document her birthstory/coming home.
And I have so many pictures that I decided to split her first year into 4 books (3 months at at time). So we have months 1-3 and 4-6 so far.
I also made this one out of the pictures that my friend Beth took.

I love making shutterfly books too! My problem is that I've started a few and haven't finished them.
