We were super excited to check out the new Wild WINTER country. We headed to Little Rock to check it out one night after Thanksgiving. Essie thought it was soooo much fun. They had a little snow area where you could sled and make snowballs and a S'more's pit.

All week we have been hearing all kinds of hype about an ice storm heading our way. Thursday at school was all kinds of crazy...the kids and teachers were super hyped about it. That night we went around town looking for a heater and of course there was not one to be found. We grabbed some pizza and holed up for the ice storm. Friday we didn't have school so we stayed inside cooking and watching movies all day long. It was so nice to have nowhere to go or nothing to do! We made a snowman cake and decorated a gingerbread house!

This year we had hosted Thanksgiving again. My parents, Haley, Tammy, Yaya, Peepaw, Vickie, Dwight, Katee, Scott, Cody, and Bryce all came over to eat. We had a ton of food and enjoyed everyone's company. That night we went out and did a little bit of Black Friday shopping...then Essie, Haley, Travis and I went to see Frozen. It was so amazing.

Yesterday Snugglebugs hosted a feast for the kiddos. I let Essie stay home with me and sleep in (Yay!) then Travis came home and we went to her school for the big lunch. The kiddos made headbands, wore "loincloths", and had their sweet faces painted. They sang a few Thanksgiving songs and we ate a HUGE lunch.
