5 Months!

5 MONTHS!  5 MONTHS! 5 MONTHS!  So far this has been my favorite age for you Essie! You are so lovable and cuddly and chubby and social and....oh I could just keep on going.

• Right now you are sooooo curious about EVERYTHING!  It's getting so hard to take pics of you-you are always looking at things other than the camera!  This poor piece of paper was crumpled to bits by the end of this shoot!




• You weighed 15 pounds 9 ounces as of today...granted you are fully dressed and you took a MAJOR poo after this picture.

• You are wearing 6-9 months sized clothes for the most parts, size 2 shoes, and size 2 diapers (once we finish out this last pack of 1/2s)

• You are sitting up independently now.  I LOVE that I can set you down with toys for you to play.  Of course you still topple at times but you are so strong!

• You are obsessed with your feet right now.  You always hold them/play with them.  You even fell asleep at daycare last week with one foot in your hand!

• You are TEETHING like crazy! You chew on everything that comes near your mouth and your fingers are always in there...you don't want to sleep anymore and mommy and daddy do NOT agree with that!

• You would almost rather eat your cereal and food than have a bottle these days! You LOVE your food...all except green beans.
• Your hair is finally growing back in! woooohooo! Oh I can't wait  for pigtails.  Pigtails mean TWO bows! :)

• You give kisses now..those leave mommy or daddy covered in spit though.

• You LOVE your exersaucer! You've figured out all the gadgets on it now!
