Tonight a bunch of us girls got together over at our principal, Lacy's, house to watch the Bachelor finale and pig out on some serious goodies. We ate and settled in to watch the drama unfold. About halfway through we got a serious surprise...the doorbell rang. Sarah's (one of the other first grade teachers) boyfriend walked in with a red rose. He proclaimed "This is your rose ceremony" and got down on one knee and proposed! She was shocked and everybody in the room erupted. I don't think there was a dry eye in there!!! It was the only good moment during the Bachelor! At least there is one happy ending! Congratulations Sarah and Matthew!!! Overall it was a fantastic night filled with laughter and surprise...even though I do think the Bachelor is a complete idiot now!
