Friday evening my parents came up to spend the night...we ran some errands and went to eat dinner at Ruby Tuesday. Essie wore this precious little outfit that her Aunt Tanya gave her.
Then we got up early Saturday morning and went to breakfast with my parents at Cracker Barrell. After that my parents left and Essie, Travis, and I went to a kids concert at a local church. The performers were Brian and Terry Kinder and Essie had a blast!
She waved her hands, clapped, bobbed her head, kicked her feet and sang along the whole hour.
She even won a door prize!!!
So we came home and took at 2 hour nap all together..it was wonderful and much needed after out long night of storms last night.
Then essie decided she wanted to play in our pile of "to be shredded" papers in the office. She had the biggest time and it entertained her for the longest time.
This evening we are gearing up for another round of bad weather so Sarah & Matthew and their 2 dogs are spending the night with us so they can use our safe room if need be. We did get in it for awhile last night. She is wearing her super dooper cute tutu jammies...
So we are ready for a loooooooong night of storms...and I hope you all stay safe!
