Whatta Weekend...

So Friday I worked all day to get packed for our first family trip with Essie...wow I always heard how much you had to pack...but geez! that's alot of stuff! So Friday after Travis got off work we all piled into the Jeep and headed to Batesville. We got there around 6:30 ish. Essie did well on the trip and the dogs even left her alone!

After we got there we took Essie on her first swim at Nana & Pa's pool. It's heated so she loved it! We didn't let her swim long because she got a little cold.

We got up extra early the next day and headed to Heber Springs to visit with some family. Essie got to see her Aunt Anna Lee, Uncle Andy, and Aunt Myra. After we visited for awhile we headed on to Conway to go to a wedding. There Essie got to meet her great grandpa Vernon for the first time! She did awesome the whole time! Then that night we headed back to Batesville where she got to meet even more family-her aunt Earlene and uncle James all the way from Pennsylvania! On the way to Batesville we stopped to buy some Cave City watermelons (the best in the world!). We ate this yellow one last night...it was so yummy!

Then today we were visited by my bff Julie, her two girls, and hubbie! Essie had to wear her "rocker" outfit in honor of them. Julie's youngest, Madelyn, loved holding Essie and wanted to hold her the whole time! We tried getting Essie to swim again today but the water was much colder and she wasn't too happy about it! She went skinny-dippin...check out that cute butt!

So needless to say...we are home now and worn out. We've got a mountain of laundry to do, a worn out little girl, and two dogs who have already completely crashed!!!
