Saturday, Travis' sister Tanya came to stay with us for the night. She got to see Essie for the first time since we came home from the hospital. We had a great time with her! This morning we has some people come to the house and buy our furniture from us. So here is our living room completely empty...our plan was to recover our old couch that was upstairs and we purchased two leather rocker/recliners. However once we brought the couch downstairs we weren't sure how it's going to work. So right now we are stuck trying to decide what to do...and our chairs aren't coming in until around the 20th. So we're practically living like squatters for the time being.
Also this morning, little bit took a very short nap in her crib...her first one ever! She hasn't really napped all day and is thankfully sleeping soundly now.
This afternoon Sarah and Matthew came over to grill out for Labor Day...we grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. And Sarah made some yummy cheese dip, salsa, and dessert. Then we went around town to look at furniture some more. We had a blast and laughed so hard I thought I was going to pop! Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures while they were here. They brought Essie this super cute zebra print outfit/costume. Doesn't she look just perfect?
