And her daddy is hard at work planning her birthday present. Can you tell he is soooo an engineer? And I love that he drew it out in purple and pink.
In other news, my Jeep broke down today. It wouldn't start, so travis tried to jump it and it wouldn't jump. So he was calling for a tow (a 77 dollar tow in fact) when it finally started up. So we took it down to the shop but they can't look at it until Friday so we will be without it for quite awhile. And the bad thing is that Essie's carseat does not fit in Travis' truck facing backwards (and we really don't want her to face forward yet) and it has no air conditioning. So we will be stuck at home for who know how long. But here is Essie facing forward today for her ride home from the shop. She squealed the whole time. She thought it was a BLAST! So that means that we've had BOTH our vehicles break down in the last month. yay!
And we've been asked how Travis' employment is going. He has been unemployed for 4 months now...far longer than I ever thought he would be. We have heard no's from the jobs he's applied for in Memphis, one of the ones in russellville, and the ones with the highway department. We are still waiting to hear from another job in russellville, one in hot springs, one in conway, and one in little rock. It's not going well and waiting is torture. But I do have to say it's nice being off this summer with him at home!
