Maggie & Tucker

Soon the "show us your life" on Kelly's Korner is about pets.  Those of you who have been following our blog know ALL about my two sweet furry babies.  Even though they are NOT always sweet...check out THIS post about their naughty side!

• MAGGIE MAE-we got maggie a few months after we got married.  We bought her from a lady who sold wholesale and her dealer would not take Maggie since she had a bum knee.  Therefore we got her for 50% off!  She's our little clearance pup!  We fell in love with her from the moment we saw her.  She was THE cutest puppy we'd ever seen!  She is also the smartest dog I've ever met.  She can sniff out a new toy a mile away.  She learned all her tricks in a matter of minutes.  She can roll over, sit, lay down, shake hands, give a high five, speak, and pout.  She also has the ability to "deliver" things.  Like I could be upstairs and give her a magazine to take downstairs to Travis and she will absolutely do it!  She can also be a little mischievious and is always snooping/begging for food. Her true love (other than food) are squeaker balls. 


• TUCKER MAXWELL-we got tucker a year after we had maggie.  He was just the sweetest thing from the beginning. The first night we had him he slept inside a pair of Trav's jeans!  He's always been a mama's boy.  He's not smartest dog by any means...the only tricks he can do is sit and speak.  However, after 5 years of trying he finally learned to shake.  He has always been partial to one particular toy at a time.  He will only play with one toy and he will love it to pieces...literally until it disappears.  The first toy he loved was a yellow duck, then it was this orange fuzzy thing that smelled like bandaids, then it was an elephant, and now we are on super chicken.  He has to bring it to bed with him every single night!  He also is quite partial to a rock that he dug up years ago.  He was very intuitive about me when I was pregnant and would hug my belly.
