The Ryman

We took a shuttle this morning to the Ryman Auditorium & the Country Music Hall of Fame. We really enjoyed both places but didn't take any pics of the Hall of Fame. The Ryman was really neat...it was the original home of the Grand Ole Opryand before that, it was a church. It was breathtakingly beautiful. And to think that we are sitting in the pews that millions of other people have sat in. And we stood on the stage that Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, etc. had stood on to perform. We even had a seriously cheesy picture taken of us on the stage holding guitars. They claim the acoustics there are second best in the world (second only to the Mormon Tabernacle) due to the curved walls and wooden pews, etc. We had to wait 30 minutes or so for our shuttle to come back and pick us up. Therefore, we sat there and played with the camera lens to entertain us. We realized we could use the hood to make me look like I had a moustache! :)
