6 year old outfit

So I've been saving this little outfit for 6 years now.  I bought it for my niece Haley when she was Essie's age and I remember how cute she looked in it so I stored it for my little girl one day! And today Essie looked just precious in this outfit!

And just for fun...Essie found these Elmo Christmas Jammies at Target and put them in the cart so we HAD to get them.  Only problem was the smallest they came in was 2T so they are HUGE...this is how we found her this morning....bless her lil heart!

Parents Night Out

We tried to milk our weekend alone for all it was worth.  We tried to cram in all the things we don't get to do with Essie here.  We left out last night at 8 pm in search of something to do.  We stopped at puttputt golf and played a round.  I got two holes in one and travis only beat me by two in the end.  Then we stopped by the bowling alley and it's very clear that neither of us have a future in pro bowling!  Then we went to a late dinner and finished our evening up with a midnight run to walmart! We got home after midnight and felt so irresponsible! We slept in til 10 which we NEVER can do and I spent the afternoon cleaning our house from top to bottom.  We met my parents up in Newport again and got our baby back around 2ish.  It was so good to see her! She was so excited to see us she did a happy dance in fact!  She's been super fussy since she's been home...screaming  her head off and melting down at everything.  I think she's super tired and her nose is running and stuffy.  I'm hoping she wakes up in a much better mood tomorrow!

a 28th for daddy!

Yesterday was Travis' 28th birthday! I took off half a day and his parents came down.  We went to lunch at our favorite place together.

Then we came home and I gave him his gift....I hid puzzle pieces in a box of fruit loops so he had to dig to find them! Then he had to put the pieces in order to solve it. Check out EClaire's shirt...it says "The Bigger the Bow the Better the Mommy".  :)

Here was the completed puzzle.   It says "two tickets to see Brad Paisley and "hootie blowfish" (darius rucker) at little rock". 

Then we all went to Newport to meet my parents to drop off Essie and we went to US Pizza....amazing pizza and salads (lets just say I did NOT stick to the diet yesterday so I will be working extra hard the rest of the week). 

Then my parents took Essie for the weekend so we could go to the ASU game today (they gave him tickets for his bday).  It was so sad to see her driving away but I know she'll have fun and we need a weekend away!  

This morning we went to the game...It was an AMAZING game...the 2nd half was so exciting! We won 37-16!

Biggest Loser Update #2

I lost 4 more pounds this week! So now I'm down a total of 12 pounds.  I went to Zumba this week with my bf Julie.  They offer a free class every Monday and it was a blast! I worked fire out of us though~If you've never heard of Zumba it's a Latin and hiphop dance/aerobic class! So I'm hoping to continue going there every Monday!

Randi's Rendezvous

So since I've been asked to cater/host/plan several events lately I decide to make my little side business official...Randi's Rendezvous...you can find it on facebook! :)  My favorite children's book to read to my 1st graders is Piggie Pie by Margie Palatini.  This year the book turned 15 so we hosted a birthday party and play at school for it.  I was so proud of my kiddos...the worked so hard and did such an amazing job! I made piggie cupcakes, witch oreo pops, and green witch's brew for the party!

Haley's Spooky 7th Birthday!

This Saturday my parents hosted a spectacularly spooky costume party at their house to celebrate Haley's birthday! I wish I had gotten pics of the outside of the house but I didn't!  Here are some pics of the party!
