Newest Red Wolves fans

I came across these super cute Red Wolves collars for the dogs today. I just had to get them. They both look so cute in them!

Results

I got my bloodwork results. My levels were a little low. I was 9.2 and should have been 10. I talked with my doctor (Love him by the way) and he said that as soon as I get pregnant again to call him and he's going to put me on a supplement. So hopefully I'll have a better chance of a full term prenancy this time. He also said that he expects me to get pregnant this month and he's waiting to hear good news from me soon! Here's to hoping!

Bloodwork

I had to go get my bloodwork done yesterday at the NEA Women's Clinic. My doctor wanted me to come in and have my progesterin checked to see what my base level was. If it is too low, he will prescribe a supplement. I had to go in after work so I spent all day dreading it. I'm not afraid of needles or blood, it's just I dread the process. I was blessed with very deep veins. They can never get it out of the inside of my arm. I've spent hours in labs, waiting while the tech pokes, digs, and stabs at my arms. Therefore, they usually take it out of tops of my hands, and here recently the inside of my wrists (yikes!). So I sat down and gave my usual spill about don't try my arms, go for the hands. One of my hands was unusable because it had just been drawn from. The other produced no usable veins. The tech refused to take it from my wrists (thank you!) so she felt brave enough to go for the inside of the elbow. I told her good luck, it's only been done once! She tied me off, felt a vein waaaaay down deep. She said it would hurt since she had to go so deep. In she went, I never felt a thing!!! I didn't even feel pressure! She had to use the entire needle to get it...only the tube was sticking out! I wanted to give her a hug before I left..it was the best bloodwork experience I had ever had!

Payback

Okay Julie...time for some payback. This is my favorite picture of you of all time. I can remember laughing until it hurt when I saw this for the first time. It still cracks me up. What an expression! And to level the playing field here is a pic of both of us from 2nd grade. I do believe we both were rockin' mullets! Julie is far left 2nd row. I'm far left 3rd row. Gotta love those 80's digs!!!

Laundry Room

I've also been working on getting our laundry room decorated. I made the "Wash & Dry" letters for the main wall. I made labels for our sorting baskets as well. I also ordered a vinyl sign that says "Laundry today or naked tomorrow" for our other big wall. So once it's in, the laundry room will be done as well!

It's "office" ially done!

Our office has been the one room that we have neglected since we've moved in. The main reason being that it has a double life. One being that it's a typical office with all the typical office stuff. The other is that it's a craft room full of scrapbook supplies. So it was hard to find a balance between the two worlds. I ended up taking out 3 bags of trash from that little room alone. It sure feels good to get rid of stuff that's not needed anymore!!! I'm really pleased with how it turned out so far!

New Letters!

Here are a few more letters I've just completed. The first set is for my Aunt Tammy. The second set is a new style I'm trying. It's for our laundry room. The third is a set for our office. These are shelf-sitter letters. This in another style I'm trying. I've been experimenting to see what works before the craft fair.

arrangements

For awhile now, I've been looking at some fake floral arrangements for the house. They're just so expensive to buy. So Travis and I set out yesterday to make our own using half price items from Hobby Lobby. We made this first arrangement for our bar. The second is for our half guest bathroom. We've got the stuff to make one more for our master bathroom. We thought they turned out pretty good for first timers!

Red Wolves part 2

Travis & I were pumped to attend the second Red Wolves home game. We had GREAT seats this time! The wolves got off to a slow start during the first half. But they came back with a fury during the 3rd quarter. The game tied up and then USM got ahead again in the 4th quarter. The wolves were rallying back...we had a great chance of winning...we threw the ball. It bounced off our players pads and landed smack into the opponents hands. We lost 27-24. It was a very exciting game & the Red Wolves did a great job considering the terrible, terrible refs, rain showers, & sorry luck! On top of that there were 26,000 fans there (half of J-town's population). The only negative was that it took us 1 hour to get home. 30 minutes of that was spent in the parking lot alone!!!

Brilliant

Brilliant. That's what Travis says to me everytime I have a "blonde moment". Very rarely do I get to use this phrase on him. Today, I got my chance. As we were heading to the game, he rolled down his window & the ASU flag that was attached to it flew off and landed in the steet. So we pulled over and he got out to get it. We cracked up when he saw my camera as he walked back up to the car. I couldn't pass up the chance to document one of his "blonde moments".
