Thanks Red Wolves!

The Design Shoppe here in town has a deal during home games. Whatever the winning spread is, they give that percentage off of their merchandise the following Monday. The score at Saturday's game was 83-10. So that's 73% off everything!!! Travis got there as they opened this morning. Two hours later he emerged with all this great stuff! It was so packed that the local news and a newscrew from Little Rock were both there! He spent $75 and got: 2 sweatshirts, one t-shirt, one tanktop, one polo shirt, two hats, one knit cap, 2 flags, 2 car magnets, and a license plate! WOW! Thanks Red Wolves for the great win!

CSI Miami Addicts

Travis and I are addicted to CSI Miami. We both LOVE the cheesiness. I mean seriously, the acting is terrible, the "super cool" sunglasses move Horatio does, screaming music, and predictable one liners. We dvr every single episode so we can watch it later. Here lately there have been marathons on A&E. We've probably watched 10 episodes in the last 3 days. We love it. I have to close my eyes during the autopsy parts and I certainly can do care for the gross crime scenes. But I am addicted to it none the less! I've even been solving crimes in my sleep lately! :)

Another new 'do

Haley Grace got herself a new 'do today as well. She told her daddy she wanted it cut just like mine. But he disagreed and said not that short. So she got it cut shoulder length and straightened today! She's usually very curly headed and this is the first time I've seen it straight! She exclaimed "it's whiter too!" :)

Go Red Wolves!!!

We went to the first Red Wolves home game tonight. It was quite a game!!! We pretty much stomped Texas Southern. The stadium was packed, people wear sporting their new gear and howling at any given moment. I think this new name and mascot has really given ASU a new life! Maybe it should've been changed a while back! The final score was 83 -10! An ASU stadium points record!!! Go Red Wolves!!!

New 'do part deux

I had my hair done yesterday and so the doggies had their hair done today. They were both in need of grooming. They both look super cute! Then we found these hysterical dog wigs at Target tonight and just had to get them. One is a mullet wig and the other is a pink diva wig. Maybe they'll wear them to the Halloween fall festival at Petco!!!

New 'do

I went and got my hair done this afternoon. I was in much need for a new 'do and some highlights. I like it even though it is a lil shorter than I had expected. I had no idea my hair had gotten so long...I was shocked to see how much of it was lying on the floor. Excuse the red eyebrows...I had them done too!

Bathroom Art

We finally got some art up in the bathrooms! For our master bath, I had my friend Brandy paint me another picture and I Love it! For our other full bath, I ordered this print from my friend Beth's sister. It turned out really cute as well!

broken

I feel like I have been doing well with this whole miscarriage thing. That was until I recieved an email from babycenter this afternoon that read "your baby is 6 weeks today!". My heart broke. There across the page was the hurtful truth that I have been pushing into the back of my mind. I had deleted most of the baby stuff for now...but I guess I forgot that one. It's amazing how something so insignificant can bring forth so many emotions...but emotions I need to feel none the less. I feel like I was given a wonderful gift...something I wanted for my whole life. I was allowed to enjoy it for only a few days and then it was just taken away. I know we can try again...I know it'll get better...but for today I am broken.

Mystery Bouquet

Today I was surprised to receive a delivery at work. I got this beautiful bouquet...the card simply stated "Glad you're back...your first grade class". I have no idea who sent it...apparently a parent in my classroom. It really made my day!

Seven Years

Travis and I began dating seven years ago today. It amazes me that it has only been that long. It seems like I've know him forever! I knew not long after we began dating that he was the one I would marry. He's the most incredible husband...I have been blown away during our recent sadness how incredibly strong and loving he his. I know I couldn't have gotten through this without him by my side. Here's a flashback of us about 7 years ago!
