Catchin up for the week...

Honestly...the week goes by so dang fast with Travis gone that I cannot decipher what day is what. Tuesday was Essie's Kindermusik night and Travis' parents came down to go with her since it was Grandparents Night. We completely forgot our cameras though!!! :(

This morning while I was getting ready for work I found my kiddos like this...

This week at work we are standardized testing (YUUUUCK!) so it's been extra busy. I'm also doing my annual dinosaur exhibit! Here are some cupcakes I made for our big exhibit tomorrow...I also made dinosaur nests (haystacks).

Essie had to taste test them for me...

It was so pretty we went for a walk around the neighborhood and played in the backyard for awhile.

She had spaghetti for dinner...well she WORE spaghetti for dinner.

We already have someone interested in our house and we are showing it this weekend..so we are going to have a super busy weekend of cleaning out this house!

Last night I was busy cooking stuff for several potlucks this week and Travis was working on the computer. So neither of us was paying much attention to the lil one....as she was laying in the kitchen floor drawing in her notebook. I about died when I turned around to find this....

I think she was trying to mimic the lady at walmart with the ton of arm tattoos!

park, quacks, sand, and princesses

This morning we went to the PARK so we could feed the "QUACKS". Essie was so brave...I'm terrified of those geese and ducks. I wouldn't get too close but she was all in the middle of it.

Afterwards we ran some errands and cleaned the backyard so Essie can play in the SAND.

After she got dirty she wanted to put on her new PRINCESS get-up!

sad day at our house.

Today was a sad day at our house. We finally broke down and put our house up for sale. It's time. It doesn't look like things are going to go our way. I'm applying at schools down around Little Rock (at seven different districts to be exact).

But on the bright side my mom and Haley came down to watch Essie so Travis and I could spend some time together this afternoon.  We had planned to go to the movies but decided to walk the mall.  It was so nice to spend almost two hours in the mall just looking and walking.  I found some clothes to wear on my job interviews.  Then we went to eat sushi...it was so nice to sit and get to visit without a whiny toddler in the mix!

Finally Friday.

Ahhhh. Friday. Enough said....
