Okay...I'm needing some more mommy advice. We are having a rediculously difficult time deciding on a stroller/car seat. There are just too many options out there. We know we want the carseat that has the snap-in base that stays in the car. Is it better to buy the stroller/carseat/base travel system combo? Or would you buy the carseat/base and get a smaller lightweight stroller? How much will we really use the full size stroller? We've been considering getting a more lightweight (not umbrella) stoller that the carseat snaps to as well. What do you moms out there recommend?

Buy the whole set. You can get little umbrella strollers at wal-mart for ten dollars I think.
I agree, go with the set. And we still only have our big stroller. I love it b/c it has so much storage space in the bottom. It's the best when shopping and for things like the zoo. We can carry a small cooler and everything we need in it. My MIL and mom both have small umbrella strollers they use at their house, but Amy's right, they are super cheap if you ever need one. Our system is made by Evenflo and we've been very happy with it.
Definitely get the combo stroller - it's so much easier too whey they are small enough to leave in the carseat in the stroller. I have both - the graco travel system and then we got a Chicco smaller stroller from Babies R Us. The Chicco one is nice for certain things, but she wouldn't fall asleep in it like she does the bigger one. And of course the bigger one does have more room in the bottom for storage.
I would recommend the combo stroller and car seat. You can always buy a nice light weight stroller later for around $30. The nice big strollers that come in the combo are essential for taking naps while out and about because they recline! They are taller and easier to push on walks, and they have a tray for snacks. They are totally worth the money.
