Peek-a-Boo
5 Weeks
The Crib
Yes...I know it's too early for a crib. But we found this at that same great furniture store in Batesville for a great deal ($179) and it was the exact crib I had picked out earlier. So we went ahead and bought it. It was already pretty much assembled so Travis just finished putting it together. It looks so cute in there. It matches the changing table perfectly. Just can't wait to have a lil bit to put in it! :)

Petco Fall Festival
One of our local animal rescue organizations NAFA (love them!) teams up with Petco each October for a fall festival. They have costume contests, obstacle courses, paw readings by a psychic, lots of treats, etc. We've taken the pups every year except one. They really love going. Maggie likes the treats and attention and Tucker likes to bark at everyone. This year Maggie went as an ASU Cheerleader and Tucker went as an ASU football player. Travis and I also sported some of our ASU gear. They've ALWAYS won the shortest tail/longest ears competitions. We got jipped this year in the shortest tail area. But Tucker is still the reigning "Lost Ears" champion and Maggie took 2nd. They both won the best "family" costume since we all matched! Tucker was really good at the obstacle course-Maggie refused to even try. The highlight this year was a goat named Charlotte who was dressed as a princess who also did the obstacle course!

My New Love...
Meet my new love...Tom. I've been waiting on these to come in and they arrived on my doorstep this afternoon! These are Toms shoes that I ordered off www.tomsshoes.com What's great about these is that for every pair you purchase, he gives one pair to needy children. What a great deal! So not only are they super duper cute, extra comfy, but they're for a good cause! They also have them for lil' ones so once we find out what kind of baby I'm bakin' I'm sure I'll buy some for him or her!
Travis' 26th!
Wednesday was Travis' 26th birthday! I surprised him with this cookie cake for him to take to work with him. That night we went to dinner, watched a movie, and he opened his presents. He got a new watch, an office game, the Indiana Jones complete dvd set, and the HE-Man complete series. I think he was most pumped about that! :)

4 weeks
I am four weeks preggo today! I know it's such a small milestone to celebrate but I'm excited none the less. Our little one is the size of a poppy seed right now. Amazing how something so little could cause so many changes in my body already! I've already experienced some nausea (nothing too bad). I've also been craving this juice...V8 Splash Peach Mango. I've gone through 3 bottles since last week! Please continue to pray for our little one!

Numbers
When you've suffered a miscarriage and are pregnant again, you go for bloodwork as soon as you find out you're pregnant. By comparing your numbers, the doctor can determine if everything is progressing as needed, etc. I went Thursday (the day we found out) to have my progesterone and hcg levels checked. Before I was preggo this time, I had my progesterone checked to see if I would need supplemental hormones. I was a little low so I started on prometrium as soon as I found out I was pregnant this time. The nurse called Friday with my first results. My progesterone was really high so they knocked down my dosage of the prometrium. Great news! But my hcg was a little low (22) so they wanted me to come in again today to have it done again for comparisons. My number is supposed to double every 2 days. So I was needing to be around 88 today. The nurse called me this afternoon and my number was 165! Great news! I was super excited to hear that everything was going along as it should! I go Nov. 5th for my 6 week appointment!

New Baby Stuff!
We had so much fun designing these onesies for our little one! Go to www.makeaonesie.com to make some of your own. You'll get so addicted!
Then we also bought this little hand-knitted hat at the craft fair today. We thought it was pretty unisex. Wear it as is for a boy or add a flower or bow for a little girl! I love hand-knitted stuff!

This morning...
Okay, I am not the world's most patient person. The wait to find out if we were pregnant again just seemed to drag on and on. I couldn't wait until I was in that "4 days before your missed period" time frame. So this morning when I woke up, I rolled over and asked Travis if I should take a test. He grumped "no, it's too early. You'll just waste it." Absolutely convinced he was wrong I took it anyway. He decided he'd joing me as I watched the little hourglass flash. It was taking forever. (The first time it flashed up really quickly). I had pretty much given up on it and decided it was taking too long to be positive. It was after all, really too early to get a positive result anyway. Then it flashed "Pregnant". I gasped. I couldn't believe it. I didn't break down like I did the first time. I was expecting it this time around. But I was just so overjoyed! Travis was still waiting for "not" to pop up but he's definitly handling it better this time. We sent an email out to surprise our parents. We knew a phone call at 6:30 would scare them (or they'd figure it out) and if we showed up at their houses, they would know immediately. So we sent them an email of the caricature of us and the picture of the positive test. Then we waited on the phone calls.
Since the last failure of the "sneaky" methods of announcing our pregnancy was still fresh in my mind I decided to just be blunt with it this time around. So when I got to work I would just blurt it into a conversation. Such as "I like those shoes and By the way, I'm pregnant.". I did this throughout the builing and screams erupted everywhere I went. It was waaaay more fun telling people that way. I went to the dr at 10:30 for bloodwork and to start my prometruim supplement. I'm really hoping and praying for a full-term pregnancy with a healthy baby this time around. Travis and I ask that you please keep us and our little one in your prayers and I'll keep you all updated on any new information.
Hysterical!
Last year at Christmas a bunch of us had a "tacky Christmas sweater" contest at school. It was our way at poking fun of the "traditional" teacher wear. Apparently somebody got ahold of the picture and wrote a "how to" article about it.
Check this out...way too funny!

Haley's 5th Birthday!
We had Haley's Birthday party this weekend at Future Fuel Park in Batesville. We had her 1st birthday there as well. There were tons of people there! She had a great time playing and opening up all of her presents! The theme for this party was Hannah Montana. Five years ago the theme was CareBears...my how much she's grown up!
Yeah...we should have just pulled over!
We should have just pulled over. But we didn't. Okay...here's the story. We were on our way home from Batesville this afternoon. We were about 20 minutes from Jonesboro and Tucker started to freak out. He was shaking & whining like crazy. That was very unlike him so I pulled him up into the front seat with me in order to calm him down. I set him in my lap and tried to pet him. He continued to act wierd. So Travis and I were trying to figure out what was wrong. Was he just nervous? Did he have to go poo? What could it be? So we talked and kept driving. All the while Tucker is shaking and whining. We were about 7 minutes from home when Tucker answered all our questions. He moaned and then he...released. He peed for like 3 minutes straight all over me. I couldn't do anything! If I moved him, it would get all over the seats so I just sat there...letting him soak me. Travis was laughing so hard he could barely stay on the road. I was laughing because Tucker kept making these relief moans all the while he was peeing. (typical boy) So once he was empty, he flashed me a sympathy look, climbed into the floorboard, and fell fast asleep. Here's is what should have told us what was wrong. This didn't cross our minds until after Tucker had soaked me. Before we left Batesville today, my folks were emptying out their swimming pool. Tucker couldn't resist playing with the siphon hose...we swallowed half the pool i think. That half of the pool ended up in my lap 5 miles outside Jonesboro today. :)
