20 Months...

Essie Claire you are 20 Months old! (well a few days ago).  Here is what you are up to these days!

• Your favorite thing to do is color.  You ask to color first thing in the morning, in the car, at bedtime...pretty much all day long.  You have filled at least five coloring books up with your precious scribbles already! You are still learning to only color on paper and not on the couch, mattresses, or furniture.
• You got your first official "shiner" this month.  Such a sad day for us!
• You talk constantly and are saying more and more sentences. You are able to carry on most conversations with us.
• You are becoming really independent. You want to dress yourself, undress yourself, wash your own hair, brush your own teeth and you refuse to hold our hands when we walk now.
• You love to go to Mrs. Deenas and have made such good friends there.  You walk in and say "hi" to each one by name! You even tried changing Anna Mae's diaper this week.
• You love to help out around the house...cleaning up (as long as we sing the clean up song), doing dishes, sorting laundry, etc.

I cannot believe you are 4 months away from being TWO!!! Holy cow...HOW is that possible?
