A Beautiful Day...and a busy one too!

It was a GORGEOUS day today!  We kept ourselves very busy even though we had plans to be lazy all day!  Early this morning we realized that we had bought the wrong formula for Essie...we had bought the kind designed for older babies.  We'd already opened it and used 2 bottles worth before we realized it....maybe that's why she's gone through 7 outfits today-all that spitting up!  So we had to make a quick run to Target to get the right kind!  So we ran to Target and the bank this morning.  Then we came home to watch the ASU RedWolves play Iowa on ESPN. We all wore our ASU gear...and of course posed for some family pics!

It was a very exciting game and ASU did really well considering they were playing the #13 team in the nation! It was a close game but ASU lost by 3. :(  Essie snoozed for the last half of it mostly. (The ONLY time she snoozed all day!)

After that we ran to Hobby Lobby and to a local consignment store just so we could enjoy the beautiful weather some more! Then we came home and Travis worked outside to clean up some rocking chairs that we are going to paint and put on the front porch.  Essie and I hung out on the back patio and watched him and enjoyed the breeze. 

Then she and I came inside to cook dinner while he worked outside some more.  She was so good the whole time!  She just hung out in her bouncy while I worked! After dinner she played with some toys...she's really beginning to love her toys!

Then it was time to watch the HOGS play!  She made it to halftime before she started fussing and wanting her bath.  So it was bathtime and pajamas for her.  She was so tired she didn't even take her final bottle!  She crashed!  I guess that's what a beautiful, busy day with no naps does to a girl! :)
