2 months!!!

Essie Claire you are TWO months old today!  Everyday it seems you are getting more personality and are melting us more and more!

Here's what is going on with you right now:

• You weigh 10 pounds 13 ounces as of this morning (we don't go to the doctor until next week so I won't have your stats until then).  You've gained 2 pounds 2 ounces in one month!
• You sleep 8 hours a night.  You usually go to bed around 10 and sleep until 6ish.  Then you love for mommy to hold you in her arms and let you sleep a little bit longer in the bed.  You tend to take catnaps all day long.  Very rarely do you sleep over 2 hours during the day and it's usually right about an hour nap between feedings.
• You eat 5 ounces every 3 hours.  You have a HUGE appetite and sometimes want even more than that!
• You smile all the time and are cooing and making noises quite often.  You really are trying hard to talk to us!
• You moved up to size 1 diapers finally! You still can wear some newborn size stuff but mostly fit into 0-3 mos.  But we've starting putting size 6-18 month size socks on you-your feet are HUGE!


• You really are trying to roll over.  You can make it to your side but can't go on over. 
• You love to stand.  Your legs are so strong and you can stand for hours if we'd let ya!
• Bathtime still rocks and you LOVE that silly green paci!
• You are going to get your first shots next Monday-mommy is already dreading this one!

• You spend more time playing than you used to.  You love your playmats.
• You drool all the time...your clothes are soppy wet at all times!
• You love to watch Baby Einstein Beethoven...it holds your attention for the entire thing!
• You still like being swaddled at night...it's pretty essential since you move so dang much!
• You are liking your swing more and more...you even have napped in it lately!  Here is a picture of you in it today and of you the first day we put you in it (you were 3 days old). You've grown soooo much!
