I feel like the past two months have been nothing but birthday parties. Travis turned 30 last week and rather than plan an additional birthday party I decided to just host a surprise dinner. We took Essie to the princess ball first then afterwards went to a new place in town called "The Draft". I had our families and several friends meet us there. I think he was truly surprised and we had a blast with everyone!

Chick fil A royal ball
Last Monday we made reservations to take Es to the Chick Fil A royal ball. It was insanely cute. I could NOT believe the amount of work they put into it. Every princess and prince was there...they sang, played games, and danced with the kids. The evening ended with a royal carriage ride. I'm fairly sure Essie felt like a ture princess that night...she waltzed all around and couldn't stop smiling!

Race for the Cure & a visit from the Clairdays
This past weekend our fabulous friends The Clairdays (who we miss terribly) came down to spend the weekend with us. It was soooo nice to have them here and we had the best time. Essie and Cooper played hard the whole weekend.
Saturday morning we got up SUPER EARLY and drove to Little Rock for the Race for the Cure. We walked for Meemaw...it was a fun time...very moving!

princess pumpkin
I am loving this stage with Essie right now. She's so much fun and she's able to do so much. She's allllll about Halloween and is constantly pointing out Halloween things she sees. I knew she would love this Pinterest Pumpkin Project I had planned!

Homecoming
Last Friday we went home to Batesville for Haley's birthday! Essie loves going to Nana and Pa's and especially loved seeing their Halloween decorations! Afterwards we drove to Jonesboro to go to ASU's homecoming game. Essie loved staying in a hotel and was so good the entire game! It was perfect game weather! Sunday we did some shopping and ate lunch with Sarah, Matt, and Cooper before leaving to come back home!

Essie's first field trip
Essie go to go on her first field trip with her school last week! They went to the pumpkin patch and to lunch at Chick Fila afterwards. Lucky ole daddy got to take off work to go with her. She has such a blast that she talks about it all the time now!
